Introducing THE DOG PARK - Submit Your Dog's Photo & Bio

My dogs and I would love to know more about YOU and YOUR FURBABY (or babies!) Send over a photo of your dog (under 200kb, please) along with a short description/bio (4 - 6 lines) to me at agirl@agirlandherdogs.com and I will post it under The Dog Park! If you want to submit a photo and bio of a special dog that has passed, I will post it under Memory Lane / Rainbow Bridge. We look forward to meeting all of you!

PeTA KILLS!

Please - Spay/Neuter!

Each day 10,000 humans are born in the US - and each day 70,000 puppies and kittens are born. As long as these birth rates exist, there will never be enough homes for all the animals. As a result, every year 4 to 6 million animals are euthanized because there are no homes for them.

MY MOTTO:

“What’s One More?!”

My home is one of infinite love and patience - AND DOGS!!!! More than I know what to do with (and certainly more than my hubby knows what to do with!)

So here is our humble story…

My name is Michele Parker-O’Riley. I just made 30 (yikes!) on March 8th. Me, Damien (hubby), and our 23 dogs & puppies live in Southern Louisiana (though not for long - we are moving to Prague, Czech Republic, before the end of this year - and yes, we’re taking ALL 23 dogs, so stay tuned for that lovely adventure into insanity that we humorously title “No Dog Left Behind”!)

We have our own online businesses so we work from home (but don’t think that leaves us a lot of free time!)

We currently have no children (though we will one day soon) which I suppose explains the multitude of dogs and the level at which they are spoiled.

We have had so many experiences in our lifetime of loving these special furry creatures called Dogs - some that will break your heart and others that will heal and lift it. Some so hilarious we nearly peed ourselves, and others so frightening we couldn’t breathe. All dog lovers and owners - like you - have experienced times like these, and we just wanted to share ours with you, and in return, hear your stories, thoughts and comments.

Our goal for this little blog is for it to grow and catch on - to be like a community watering hole that dog lovers could come and share, learn, grow and deepen their love for their own dog and all dogs in general - no matter what breed or pedigree.

We open our arms, hearts and paws to you and welcome you into our loving, accepting and ever-growing family.

Please, stop by daily and see what’s new. Bookmark us. Share us with your friends and family. Vote for us on social network pages. Leave comments, thoughts and stories - be involved and grow with us every day. Trust me - it’ll be one very unique and rewarding experience! :)

Warmly,
Michele
