Most Common Names for Strays, Rescues and Found Dogs
When you find or adopt a stray or rescue dog, usually the first name that comes to mind is the condition you found them in, like Scruffy, Bones or Lucky. But sometimes people name them after the day of the week they were found, where they were found (street name, town, specific location) or a certain expression on their face.
Here are some great names to name your stray, found or rescued dog:

# Bones (thin/skinny when found)
# Buddy
# Bum
# Dara - which means “gift” in Bulgarian language.
